If umami had a color palette, it would be what we’re seeing for Fall fashion.   This season’s hottest styles are full of earthy yellow, autumnal red and burnt orange hues.  We love trying alternatives to the typical, black and gray neutrals (that are always in the rotation this time of year), and these warm and color-rich cinnamon and spice tones are sure to make their way into our closets.

Clay Orange

A subtle earthy orange – like the earthen clay coffee mug you made in grade school (that no one’s ever used) –  is one of the hottest hues this season.

Spicy Burnt Red

Like the chai tea latte you’ll be drinking, this burnt red tone falls somewhere between a spicy red and burnt orange.  A “tawny maple” hue that adds an earthy pop of color.

Mocha Brown

A deep rich brown – especially in a knit, textured print or jaquard fabrication – is easy to wear and the new neutral you’ll want to rock during the colder months.

Golden Yellow

You’re golden. This muted yellow hue is understated and warm, just like the fire you’ll be curled up next to over the next few months.
