The winner of our Mother’s Day Giveaway came from an instagram submission!  Thank you all that entered!

Some special submissions also included stories sent via email.  We won’t share the full stories, but here are a few clips of a handful:

One entry:

I have been doing barre about 9 mos. I went from being not at all confident in my body and my its abilities to feeling like I am strong, and that anything is possible. You see, I have an autoimmune disease, the same one my Mom has, and I never thought I could workout. But since barre is low impact it worked for me, and made me feel so. much. better…..

Another entry:

I’d love to share my memories of my mom! I shared one from when I was a kid on facebook so I figured I would share one from present day for my email entry. I love how my mom makes my daughter more outgoing by teaching her ballet…….

How about two more?

My mom and I are best friends; she was the matron of honor at my wedding and we hang out all the time. So when I found this new workout that I LOVED I just knew I needed to take her to a class with me. I was 4 months pregnant when I started…

My favorite barre memory with my mom is about to be created! I just started teaching classes and she is going to come this Saturday as I am doing a special Mother’s Day class. She is over 70 years old….

Thank you to all the additional girls that also entered.  It’s such a great thing to celebrate our moms this time of year.  Have a wonderful weekend with family and loved ones.

Love – the simplyWORKOUT team
